Position: Engineer II/III/IV DOE (Chemical/Process)

The position will provide focused attention to monitoring, managing, improving and reinventing production processes / systems to meet current and future needs through a disciplined use of facts, data, and statistical analysis.

Selection Criteria:

BS in Chemical Engineering from nationally accredited university.

Minimum 1+ years experience with Process Engineering, Optimization, and Improvement.

Experience in Phosphate Industry/Phosphoric Acid Fertilizer manufacturing preferred.

Demonstrated ability to successfully work directly with “shop floor†employees in driving improvement efforts, preparing/delivering training, and in developing project scopes.

Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex technical safety, environmental or production efficiency issues.

Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects.

Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate, both written & verbal, to personnel at all levels.

Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team & individual settings.

Must be able to show initiative and be a “self-starter†to achieve working goals.

Six Sigma experience or similar experience / training developing and implementing process monitoring and improvement systems preferred.
